1. What Shopy.krd is
Shopy.krd is a platform that lets independent merchants create and run their own online shops, and lets shoppers browse those shops and a shared marketplace. Shopy.krd is not the seller of the products listed. Each shop is run by a separate merchant who is responsible for its products, prices, orders and customer service.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are created with Google Sign-In. Keep your account secure.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be legally able to enter a contract to open a shop.
3. If you open a shop (merchants)
As a merchant you agree that you:
- own or are permitted to sell your products, and that they and your listings are lawful, accurate and not misleading;
- comply with all laws that apply to your business — including consumer, tax, product-safety and data-protection laws — and handle your own customers’ personal data responsibly (see the Privacy Policy);
- set and honour your own delivery, returns and refund terms, and respond to your customers;
- do not list prohibited, counterfeit, unsafe or infringing goods, or use the platform for fraud or abuse.
You keep ownership of your shop content; you grant us the limited licence needed to host and display it on the platform.
4. Orders and payment
When you buy from a shop, the sale contract is between you and that shop. Orders are cash on delivery — you pay the shop when the order arrives. Shopy.krd does not process payments and is not a party to the sale. Questions about an order, delivery or a refund should go to the shop first; see the Refund Policy.
5. Subscriptions and billing (merchants)
Shopy.krd has a free plan and a paid one. On the free plan a shop may take up to 30 orders in a calendar month — placed on its storefront or entered in its dashboard — at no cost and with no time limit. Above that, a subscription of $10 per month removes the limit; it is arranged directly with us (for example over WhatsApp) and you can cancel at any time. If a subscription lapses, the shop simply returns to the free plan — the storefront stays open and your data is retained.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload harmful, deceptive, hateful or illegal content;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform;
- misuse another person’s data or impersonate anyone.
We may suspend or remove shops, content or accounts that break these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Shopy.krd name, platform, design and software belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service normally.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the products, listings or conduct of individual shops.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shopy.krd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between shoppers and shops. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or to protect the platform and its users.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and disputes are subject to its competent courts, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change and, for significant changes, we will give clearer notice. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
